Frequently Asked Questions - PAL

Your PAL can be a lifesaver in an emergency, but it offers so much more. The PAL can be used like a cell phone for calls and emergency services. All calls can be made by pressing just one button that connects you directly to a Care Specialist or a preset number of your choice.

The battery typically lasts 24 hours, depending on usage.

Plug the adapter into the device and plug the other end into an outlet. The PAL does not need to be turned off to charge. We recommend you charge it in the bedroom near your nightstand so it's the last thing you put down before you go to sleep and the first thing you pick up.

It takes approximately 2 hours to fully charge the device.

Care Specialists program every PAL remotely. Four speed dial buttons can be programmed to call family and friends or any contact of your choice. You can always add to your phone book or change your speed dials by calling a Care Specialist. 16 additional numbers are available within a phonebook , which are remotely programmed.
